Weird Tapes

So one of the bands/people that is hotly tipped for 2010 is Memory Tapes. He is from New Jersey and makes lush, eclectic electronic music. I follow his blog Wierd Tapes -

... partly because he writes about some cool stuff but mainly because he gives away shit loads of his music! He has just released his debut album Seek Magic and I really really like it. Its got a sort class and refinement about it with-out being too pop. Dont get me wrong, its catchy as hell but still remains a bit rough round the edges. I hear he is in London Town early next year, so stay tuned in for dates..
