To celebrate Beach House being in town this weekend, heres some of my favourite tracks. If you havent come across them, to understand why this band are such a success, all you really need to do is listen to their record 'Norway'. The husky, different vocal, the great use of pitch bend, the soft, deep pads and uplifting guitars, its as close to a perfect pop song as you are likely to get. It provokes replay and every time it sounds better and better, its one of those records that you notice another little intricacy each time you hear it. All three records and the latest Zebra EP are genius.
